By Air: Coimbatore is the nearest airport to reach Kodaikanal. It is located about 4 hours. This airport is well connected with flights from other major airport of India.

By Train: Kodaikanal is no direct railway route. To reach Kodaikanal one may reach Coimbatore railway station where trains are routed from various parts of the country.

By Road: Road is the best way to travel to Kodaikanal due to its hilly regions. There are majorly two options. One may get down at Bangalore airport or railway station and travel by road covering different popular places like Bangalore, Mysore, Coonoor, Ooty, Kabini etc… Or directly opt a train route to Coimbatore and further travel by road to Kodaikanal and later cover the other various popular places of South India.

Best time to visit Kodaikanal
