By Air: Bangalore airport on the north is 210 kms and Coimbatore airport on the south is about 200 kms, which are the nearest airports to reach Kabini. Bangalore has an International Airport that makes a gateway to Kabini and India across the globe.

By Train: If you want to take a train route then Bangalore, Mysore or Coimbatore are the nearest railway stations to reach Kabini. The railheads of these stations are well connected to different parts of the country.

Best time to visit Kabini

Kabini is best known for its wildlife and therefore it’s very pleasant to visit during winter season i.e. from October to March. You get a better opportunity to spot the animals at this time. Although in summers also you can find the animals, it is bit uncomfortable as the temperature at this place rises from 25 degree to 40 degrees from the month of March to June. It is not advisable to visit this place during Monsoon i.e. from June to September.
