G ulmarg, meaning the meadow of flowers was named by Sultan Yusuf Shah of the Chak Dynasty in the 16th Century is located 54 kilometres from Srinagar. The town attracts skiers as its one of the best skiing place in India. Thousands of visitors travel far to this place called Heaven on Earth. By Air: Srinagar is the nearest domestic airport to reach Gulmarg. This airport has direct flight connections from few major airports like Delhi and Mumbai. There are various enrooting connections for people to travel from different parts of the country.
By Train: Srinagar do not have a railway track therefore, people who wants to travel to this place needs to take a train till Jammu.
By Road: Travel by this mode is the best option. Roads are connected from various parts of Kashmir giving you a mesmerising view of its scenic beauty.
