Tour/Travel Services Information

In order make the booking you will need to submit our booking request form available on our website or send us an email of our respective email ids mentioned in our website.
Mandatory documents should be provided by you during for booking confirmations:

- For All Foreign nationals– copy of Passport + Visa
- For All Non Resident of India– copy of passport + Visa
- For Overseas Indian Nationals holding OCI / PIO card– copy of passport + Pancard and copy of OCI/PIO card
- For Indian Nationals– Pancard + Copy of Driving License/ Adhaar Card / Voter ID Card / passport

Once the booking request and the mandatory documents is received by us we shall initiate with availability of the respective tours/travel services you wish to book.
Once we confirm you the availability of the Tours/ Travel services, you will need to make the advance payments for further confirmation of your Tours/Travel services (Please refer to our payment, cancellation, refund policies and other terms and conditions mentioned in our website before making payment to us).
The Hotel service vouchers, airline tickets, train tickets or any related confirmations shall be issued & provided to you once we receive the full and final payment by you.

A contract start between you and “Voyages and Trips to India” once the booking is confirmed by us after receiving the booking amount deposited from you in our bank account.
All the payments against the Tours/Travel services must be made by you to us in favour of Voyages and Trips to India with below mentioned time frame:

60 days	25 % of land cost or Rs. 5000 whichever is higher
Airfare/ Cruise & Train cost	100% at the time of booking
Note: · No of days mentions means all Bank Working Days in India* · Land cost means- reservation for hotels, transports, guides, meals except Airfare and Train ticket cost.

The above-mentioned payment will not be applicable during peak season (X-Mas, New Year, and Indian Fairs & Festivals etc.), long weekends and during special rates & discounts offered by the Hotels. In such conditions you will require to make full payment against the Tours/Travel services.
You may have to make additional advance amount before the final balance payment time frame depending upon the contractor/ suppliers payment deadline as and when applicable.
In case of booking for groups and Fix departures will be entitled with separate booking procedures & Payment terms which will be disclosed to you from time to time.

In case of cancellations of the Tours/Travel services we must be informed by you in writing via email in any avoidable and non-avoidable circumstances in order to accept and process cancellation of your Tours/Travel services.
Below Cancellations charges would be incurred from the date of receiving an cancellation request in writing via email:

Date of booking above 45 days	20,000 per person or 25% of the booking cost whichever is higher.
Airfare/ Cruise & Train cost	100% Non-refundable or as per the Booking terms of the Airlines, cruise and Railways.

A Minimum of 10% service charges will be applicable in case of cancellation of Tours/Travel services irrespective of above mentioned cancellation slabs.
Irrespective to the above cancellation slabs, the refund against the cancellation of your trip would be limited to the amount we may be able to recover from the hoteliers, suppliers or contractors.
In case of any unused hotel stay, transport service or sightseeing’s or entry tickets or any missed meals etc. we do not take any responsibility for refunds. In this case utilised services from your tours/travel services will be non-refundable.
There is a separate cancellation policies applicable on booking cancellation of Any Special Train Journeys like Palace on Wheels, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey, Golden Chariot, Indian Maharaja & Maharajas Express. In such bookings cancellation charges will be advised as and when required.
In case of bookings made during peak season (X-Mas, New Year, and Indian Fairs & Festivals etc.), long weekends and during special rates & discounts offered by the Hotels. The cancellation charges will be 100% of cost against your Tours/Travel services booked and no refund will be made in any of your avoidable or unavoidable circumstances of cancellation.

Any refund will be provided on basis of cancellation terms mentioned in the above cancellation section.
In case your booking is eligible for any refund, you will be refunded back through the same mode through which you have made us the payment.
- Credit Card: If you have made the payment through credit card, we shall initiate the refund in your respective credit card after 3 -5 working days from your written cancellation request to us. The refund will be received to you according to your bank procedures, terms and conditions for using their services. (You may check with your bank in case of any further queries). In this case, any fees or bank charges applied while making the payment will be non-refundable at any cost.
- Debit Card: If you have made the payment through debit card, we shall initiate the refund in your respective debit card after 3 -5 working days from your written cancellation request to us. The refund will be received to you according to your bank procedures, terms and conditions for using their services. (You may check with your bank in case of any further queries). In this case, any fees or bank charges applied while making the payment will be non-refundable at any cost.
- Bank Transfers: If you have made the payment through Bank transfers, we shall initiate the refund in your respective bank account after 3 -5 working days from your written cancellation request to us. The refund will be received to you according to your bank procedures, terms and conditions for using their services. (You may check with your bank in case of any further queries. In this case, any fees or bank charges applied while making the payment will be non-refundable at any cost.

Voyages and Trips to India (VTTI) will not be liable to any extra cost incurred after the confirmation of the tours/travel service if there are any Increase in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost, taxes and guide charges by the Govt. of India. In this case, you will have to pay us the extra cost for a particular tours/travel services booked.
VTTI provide you rates based on best-negotiated rates & offers by the hotels, airlines, Public transportation like buses & Trains, Private fleets, Drivers, Guides etc. Hotels, Airlines or any public transportation reserves the right to modify the rates without any prior notice. In such circumstances, the rates quoted to you for the any of the tours/travel services shall be modified and we shall provide you fresh rates/quotes for the same services.
VTTI and its associates acts as a mediating agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & the contractors providing other services. All exchange of bookings, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions of hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & the contractors providing other services. The tickets, coupons or passage contract in use by carrier/hotel or other contractors rendering services shall constitute the sole contract between you and such contractor.
VTTI provide you the day-wise Itineraries intended to give you a general idea only. There may be other various factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. will affect to change the itinerary either before the tour or during the tour. Voyages and Trips to India reserves the right to amend any aspect of the itinerary including transportation and accommodation without notice in the interest of the trip, customers’ safety, comfort and general wellbeing without making any rebate, allowance or refund. If any extra cost, it would be payable by you to us or as directed by us.
VTTI shall not be responsible for any delay or change in schedule or expenses incurred or special / consequential loss, injury and damage – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment’s, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, acts of God, perils incident to the sea, floods, fire, acts of Government or any other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control or any untoward incidents or any such causes whatsoever including any liability or extra expenses sustained by you. Further, you shall be liable for the liability or extra expenses incurred by him / her as a result of the forgoing causes.
VTTI shall not be responsible and shall not accept any liability towards the customers or his/her legal representative for any loss of property or damages resulting from death or injuries including loss of services which the customers may sustain on account of act, negligence or default by any transportation owners or company, hotel agents or any other body of persons, its agents or service providers providing such services or facilities or arising out of or while engaged in any tour, means of transportation or other services, whether due to ownership, maintenance , use, operation or control of any automobile, bicycle, boat, motor, or other vehicle in common carrier or otherwise and whether due to its or there negligence or otherwise or regardless of how caused. Customers using sporting equipment, bicycles, sailing boats, scuba diving gear, hired or supplied by hotels or rental bodies shall do so at their own risk.
VTTI do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Customers are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk. The Voyages and trips to India also offer a Travel Insurance if you do not avail the travel insurance from your home country, but in such cases, VTTI is only a mediating agent between the customers or policyholder and the Insurer. VTTI does not take responsibility for any claim occurred. It will be the sole responsibility of the customers to contact the insurer company directly for any claim or queries occurred after the policy is issued by us.
VTTI reserves the right to cancel any services in case it deems that the tour, trip or passage is impracticable for any reason or should circumstances warrant such action, upon refunding the value thereof and the customer shall not have any other or further claim against the company by any reason thereof.
VTTI reserves the right to refuse to carry out its contract with any person whom it may consider to be undesirable in its absolute discretion and it shall not be required to show any reason for doing so.
VTTI reserves the right to change or modify any of its terms and conditions mentioned in this section as and when required without any prior notice. The customers to keep check this section for their knowledge.

The Tour Package includes vehicle cost as per the itinerary planned for fixed or locked kilometres of usage as per the itinerary customised for you. Any cost of extra usage of vehicle (cars / coaches with the driver) is not included in the services and hence extra usage of vehicle for sightseeing not mentioned in the itinerary or any other purpose will not be allowed or may incur extra charges to be paid to us or as directed by us.
The Air conditioned of the vehicle will not be allowed to put on in hilly regions even if the booking price includes the air condition charges. No claim shall be entertained.
Any Hikes in Airlines cost, ROE, Government fees or taxes shall affect the cost of the tour package.
In case of delay or cancellation of airlines or trains, VTTI shall not be responsible for your missed sightseeing’s or related inclusions in the tour package. We may try to cover the same as per the time bound.
The check in and check out time varies from Hotel to Hotel. The Hotel shall provide you check in as per their standard check in time only. VTTI do not guarantee for any early check-in. In case you wish to avail early check then reservations needs to be made starting from previous nights at an extra cost.
There may be a refundable security deposit charged by hotel from the customers that will vary depending upon the hotel policy.
VTTI shall not entertain any claim for any extra utilities or facilities that are not mentioned in our packages used by you directly or without our knowledge.
If you are booked with more than one room at the hotel, VTTI do not take any responsibility to avail you the room allocation for together. It is strictly subject to the availability of rooms in respective hotels at time of check in.
By booking with us the customers hereby agrees that the customised packages are as per his/her will & choice. VTTI will not entertain any claim regarding combinations & price of packages, category and type of services.
The booking rates of the final combined package shall be strictly subject to availability.
The rates provided to you for the package shall exclude any special dinner or mandatory charges levied by the hotel during Christmas, New Year, Diwali or any special occasions. The cost incurred shall be borne by the customers and shall have to pay to hotel directly or as directed by us. No claim shall be entertained in such circumstances.
Once the price is accepted by you for the respective Tours/Travel Services, VTTI will not entertain any claim for price comparison with other travel companies offline or online. In case you wish to cancel the bookings we will provide refund as per our terms and conditions mentioned in cancellations and refund policies.
Government Service taxes shall be charged as per government rules in the final price before the final payment.
VTTI reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any holiday package or any Tours/Travel Services without any prior notice.
Helicopter Tickets & Fare are subject to availability & can change at any moment.
The customers booking for Chardham Yatra or Do Dham Yatra by helicopter, VTTI takes utmost care to make you fly by Helicopter but due to sudden weather conditions / VIP Movement / unavoidable situations or government restrictions declared at the last moment the service may become unavailable. In this case VTTI will book you to arrange for alternate Helicopter journey on same day or on alternate dates depending upon the availability of Helicopter at that time.
The Helicopter flying get cancelled then the helicopter tickets cannot be carried forward to next day and in this case no accommodation, meal or cost of transport would be paid or reimbursed or compensated due to cancellation of Helicopter.
In case of tour/travel services for adventure and wildlife activities, VTTI shall not be responsible for any kind of risk or loss occurred to the customers.
